Recruiter/Technical Sourcer one-year contract opportunity

The technical talent sourcer will partner with technical recruiters and is responsible for identifying, developing relationships with, and submitting top talent for technical roles.

The team supports technology roles across all segments – including Experiences + Products; Media & Distribution (inclusive of Streaming). In addition to finding talent, the tech sourcer will serve as a consultant to recruiters and hiring leaders on the external technical talent market – keeping a close eye on talent and competitor trends to help inform and influence hiring decisions.

A key partner to the technology talent acquisition team, the technical talent sourcer is also a member of the larger Enterprise Sourcing and Research Center of Excellence. Collectively, the team works together to advance and share sourcing knowledge and best practices.


  • Partner with members of Outreach & Engagement team to invite relevant prospects to select events and panels to foster engagement and deepen interest as an employer-of-choice
  • Leveraging the Applicant Tracking System, review previous applicants against several functional technical profiles to identify talent that may be a great fit for current or future opportunities.
  • Attend & support Outreach & Engagement events to the tech community and follow up with talent met at events – building long term relationships and identifying opportunities of interest
  • Identify and establish relationships with diverse professional organizations that result in the identification of diverse talent in partnership with the Professional Recruitment team
  • Conducts outreach and phone screens with interested talent to confirm fit to profile(s) and ongoing interest as an employer – expectation for tech talent sourcer to conduct ~15-30 screens/week with talent
  • Add interested and top talent to Beamery (talent relationship management system), tagging appropriately to ensure talent can be easily uncovered by recruiters and sourcer across the enterprise
  • Proactively identify current openings that screened talent could be a fit for, submit talent to recruiters and/or sourcer and/or hiring leaders and answer any questions around talent qualifications
  • Keep on top of and develop insights around key market trends, competitive talent intelligence & talent demographic analysis to consult with recruiters and hiring leaders around the external talent market
  • Provide exceptional candidate experience – inclusive of responsive communication and feedback to talent
  • Identifying and screening talent from events, referrals and/or pools of past talent (e.g., previous interns). As needed, sourcer may also take on additional responsibility for outbound sourcing of talent.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement(s) to inbound talent sourcing project(s) and processes
  • Keeping talent records updated daily and providing updates on metrics and outcomes regularly
  • Experience maintaining confidential information

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience, with at least 1 year in a tech sourcing, tech recruiter or recruiting coordinator role supporting technology teams
  • Experience providing a best-in-class candidate experience to talent throughout the recruiting process
  • Significant experience following documented processes and performing appropriate documentation/tracking
  • Experience using CRM, TRM or ATS tools – e.g., Kenexa, Taleo, Jobvite, Beamery, Avature, SmashFlyX, iCIMS, Yello, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience developing strong, collaborative relationships and partnering with team members towards a common goal

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion and interest in elevating candidate experience throughout the recruiting process and understanding and engaging diverse talent
  • Proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Knowledge of OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs) compliance
  • Proven experience contacting, attracting, qualifying, and converting high-potential prospects through multiple channels to assess candidates’ technical skills and qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of businesses, segments & locations
  • Business acumen with the ability to understand & interpret complex business needs and business structure
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, communication and presentation skills, including verbal and written
  • Flexibility to work with changing priorities based on team/business needs + ability to quickly pivot; Ok with ambiguity
  • Strong curiosity, creativity, and a drive to succeed while helping others and putting team first a must
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Required Education:  Bachelor Degree
